We divide flexible scope repairs into two main categories: small and large diameter. Small diameter repairs originate from the OR, Pulmonary, Anesthesia, Urology and ENT areas and we specialize in repairing scopes made by leading manufacturers such as Olympus/ACMI, Karl Storz, Pentax, Richard Wolf, etc. The most common types/models we service are:
- Olympus BF-, LF-, CYF-, ENF-, URF-, etc.
- Karl Storz 11101RP2, 11278AU1, 11272CU1, 11301-series,
- ACMI DUR-8/-8E/-8Ultra.
- Richard Wolf Viper & Cobra ureteroscopes.
- Pentax fiber and videoscopes such as FB-15V, EB-1970K, FNL-models, VNL-models.
As for large diameter scopes used in GI/Endoscopy, we have full capabilities on a wide range of videocolonoscopes and videogastroscopes from Olympus, Pentax and Fujinon, both latest generation and older models. These capabilities include but are not limited to the following repairs:
- Bending rubber & biopsy channel replacement.
- Angulation system repairs/rebuilds including wire adjustment and/or replacement, knob rebuilds, etc.
- Insertion and light guide tube replacements which include electrical connector rewiring.
- CCD chip repair and replacement depending on cost/availability.
- Aeration and repair of fluid invasion.
- Bending section repairs and rebuilds as appropriate.
Our industry leading turnaround times average 1-2 days for minor repairs and 3-5 days for major rebuilds. Loaners and exchange scopes are also available.
